April 2, 2007

Dear Class of "82",

It was great to hear from you and gratifying to be remembered as you are planning your 25th reunion. It is hard to believe that all those years have passed so quickly. But I most certainly will make sure that I am available to attend. It really shouldn’t be too hard for an old retired fellow to “clear his calendar” for one night.

Seriously, I look forward to seeing members of the Class of “82” that I haven’t seen in years. I have kept track of many; seeing them around town, attending their weddings, having their children in school (that was a scary experience and let me know how old I was getting) and doing business with many others. I truly believe the class was extraordinary in many ways, and although I had four other graduating classes before moving on to another school, the Class of “82” has always had a special place in my heart.

I am still living in Waltham, though I have sold my house and now live in a condo with no stairs to climb. I keep active in the community serving on the board of the Friends of the Library, and the Waltham Community Foundation. I also serve on the school building committee, the McDevitt School Council, the after school advisory committee, my condo board, and my church council. I even ran for office, but was unsuccessful. I may well try for office again. So I try to stay out of trouble by keeping active.

I can’t wait to see you all at the reunion, and please call me if there is anyway at all that I can be of assistance in your planning. By the way, I love the website.

Sincerely

Mr. Mac
